Jasmine Kearse, MD is a physician practicing psychiatry in the metro Atlanta area for 10+ years. She completed her residency at Bergen Regional Hospital, the largest psychiatric facility in the state of NJ. Before exploring the private practice world, Dr. Kearse worked as a high-acuity psychiatrist in a local Atlanta psychiatric facility. This unique exposure allows Dr. Kearse to have a deep understanding of the management of mental health patients at a time when one may be running out of options. Dr. Kearse specializes in forensics, trauma and dissociative disorders, maternal-fetal conditions, veteran care, and provides concierge services. She is a strong supporter of the community and advocates for expressing one's authentic self.
Dr. Kearse has written two books, "To Whom It May Concern: Thoughts from a Psychiatrist" and "Hues of Mental Illness," a therapeutic coloring book. She has been a featured speaker and panelist at various conferences and on podcasts. She has numerous accolades and awards.
Dr. Kearse feels one of her most prominent passion is trauma and dissociative disorders. She is a member of the International Society of the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, and was selected as a committee member for the US Task Force to enhance training of mental health providers in the complexities of the disorders.
