Daphne Rosales is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in the treatment of individuals recovering from eating disorders/disordered eating patterns, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), complex trauma (C-PTSD), racial trauma, human trafficking, sexual abuse, and dissociative disorders. Her clinical work is grounded in a trauma-informed, culturally responsive framework that honors each client’s lived experience and resilience.
She works within her own practice and is a member of the trauma and dissociative disorders treatment team at Pasadena Trauma Therapy, where she is the resident specialist in treating individuals with co-occurring trauma, dissociation, and disordered eating. Daphne also maintains a practice dedicated to supporting individuals across the dissociative spectrum, including Other Specified Dissociative Disorder (OSDD) and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID).
Daphne earned her Master of Social Work degree from California State University, Long Beach and has a professional background in higher-level of care for eating disorder treatment at Reasons Eating Disorder Treatment Center and Center for Discovery. She is deeply committed to further educating the community on the assessment and treatment of trauma and dissociative disorders through speaking engagements and consultation, and provides presentations on both disordered eating and dissociative disorders within therapeutic, medical, and higher educational settings.
Within her clinical practice, Daphne integrates a range of evidence-based and trauma-focused modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, Structural Dissociation Theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). As a clinician, she maintains a curious, empathetic, and culturally humble posture, prioritizing the provision of a safe space for all individuals, with a commitment to LGBTQIA+ affirmation and social justice advocacy.
