Doctor Emily E. Haas graduated from medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt Psychiatry Residency Program, where she served as chief resident and simultaneously completed a fellowship with the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis. After residency, Dr. Haas gained expertise in the treatment of complex trauma and dissociative disorders while working as an attending psychiatrist at the world-renowned Trauma Disorders Unit at Sheppard Pratt Hospital, where she was ultimately promoted to the role of Co-Service Chief.
In the fall of 2022, Dr. Haas brought her expertise to Silver Hill Hospital where she developed, and is the Director of, the Triumph Program, a residential program for the treatment of complex trauma and dissociative disorders. In her role as Director of the Triumph Program, Dr. Haas runs one of the few residential programs in the United States able to safely and effectively treat individuals with Dissociative Identity Disorder.
